From Stacy: So so so awesome! Thank you for your submission King Churro, and thank you SO much for your service and kind words as well.
What is your name?: | King Churro |
Where are you from?: | Indio, California |
Tell us about why you use CPAP and how you got diagnosed.: | Apparently Sleep Apnea is a common thing for us Veterans. I’m a US Army Veteran, served in OIF 3 in 2005 with the 814th Engineer MRBC. Well fast-forward to 2012, my Wife complains to my doctor during an appointment that I snore way too loud, and sometimes it seems like I stop breathing in between snores. So Dr. Srikandarajah here at the VA Palm Desert, puts me in for a Sleep Test, and next thing you know, I have a CPAP. |
What do you LOVE about CPAP treatment?: | Well, my Wife loves that I don’t keep her up at night…for the wrong reasons, of course. At first, I have felt well-rested but I don’t feel that way so much anymore. I guess I’m more comforted to know that I have no reason to stop breathing while I’m asleep. |
Any advice for other CPAP Babes?: | I personally get all of my equipment from the VA, so I don’t always get the most comfortable masks but as we say in the military, “Embrace the suck.” Thank God for CPAP Babes for providing us with a forum or outlet to banking on being sexy in our CPAPs. |
